Estimators

Room-to-Scope: Measure on the first visit, leave with the estimate.

Type the room sizes, or upload a scan from an iPhone or iPad with LiDAR. Tick the work for each room. Room-to-Scope returns a line-by-line materials list with the arithmetic shown, priced from your own price book.

How it works

Three steps.

1
Measure the roomType the dimensions, or upload a LiDAR room scan or a 3D model file. A rough scan is drawn dashed and noted on the estimate.
2
Pick the workPainting, flooring, baseboard, drywall, tile, insulation, roofing, HVAC registers and outlets.
3
Read the estimateEvery line shows its working, such as 412 sq ft of wall × 2 coats ÷ 350 sq ft per gallon. Change any assumption and it recalculates.

Your numbers, not ours

Prices come from the price book you upload as a CSV. A material with no price shows as needs a price, and the total says it is incomplete. Labor rate, markup and tax start at zero until you set them. Waste factors and coverage rates start at ordinary round numbers and are yours to replace.

What it needs from you

Your files make it work.

Your price book, from a template you fill in.
Your labor rate, markup and tax rate.
What it will not do

The limits, plainly.

It never invents a price. No price in your book, no number on the line.
It is a takeoff, not a design. It does not size equipment: a register count is not a load calculation.
Photos can suggest work that is missing, like a water stain. Nothing from a photo is added to an estimate without the estimator.
There is no 3D viewer. It reads the scan and draws the floor plan.
