Permit Packages: A rooftop solar permit package, drafted for sign-off.

Enter the site once, or read it off the data sheet photos. Permit Packages runs the electrical checks, draws the single-line diagram and assembles the package as a PDF with a DXF of the diagram, for a licensed person to review.

How it works

Three steps.

1
Enter the systemModules, inverter, string layout, design temperatures and the main service. Or photograph the data sheets and confirm what it read.
2
Run the checksString voltage in the cold, inverter window, currents, breaker and wire sizing, conduit fill, voltage drop, the 120% rule and rapid shutdown.
3
Review and sendA named reviewer enters their licence number. Until then every page carries a DRAFT watermark.

What is in the package

Project and system summary, single-line diagram and wire schedule, electrical calculations, equipment schedule, labels and where they go, a structural data sheet for the engineer, and a list of what the permit office still needs attached.

What it needs from you

Your files make it work.

The equipment data sheets, as photos or PDFs, or the values typed in.
A licensed person to review the draft.
What it will not do

The limits, plainly.

It is a draft, not a stamped plan set. It does not stamp, sign or file anything, and Kazfen is not the engineer of record.
A package with a failing check cannot be marked reviewed, and changing the design afterwards takes the review away again.
The code tables it uses were transcribed and need confirming against the edition your permit office has adopted. That is the reviewer's job.
It does not replace the structural analysis a permit office may require. It gives the engineer the data to start from.
Rooftop solar only today. It does not draft other electrical permits.
